Treatment for dark lips – Forest Essentials Sweet Narangi Juice Lip Balm

Today I am going to jot down my experience with Forest Essentials – Sweet Narangi Juice Lip Balm. This is my first product from Forest Essentials or probably it might be the first and last until I find some stable finance in my pocket (all the products are way too expensive, but are worth every penny). I visited ‘Forest Essentials’ at Inorbit Mall, Whitefield, Bangalore and every time I pass by I used to say to myself ‘Some day I will definitely purchase something from here’ and then I got an opportunity to be a proud owner of Sweet Narangi juice Lip Balm from Forest Essentials 🙂

Why did I buy this one? I have purchased lot of lipsticks and lip colors but guess what, whichever lipstick I use it doesn’t matter my lip color gets too dominating and the product is lost in my lips. I was really longing since a while for a pretty pink lips so that my lip products doesn’t go a mere waste ! Voila ! the solution was resting right inside forest essentials.

My experience – Well, when I purchased it first all I could see and get excited was about the classy packaging. The lip balm is enclosed in a golden case with a small mirror inside for our convenience. The product looks so tempting that you want to eat them all. That feeling you get post application, I personally felt like grabbing some taste (but never try it please 😛 ).

Lip balm is very transparent although it possesses a stunning yellow color. The texture is very smooth and it comfortably settles in your lips. The fragrance is extremely tempting and moisturizing, it treats dry/chapped lips to a great extent.

Forest Essentials Sweet Narangi Juice Lip Balm

If you are looking to lighten your lip pigmentation this one will be the right choice for you. You need to use to continuously (at-least 3 to 4 times a day) for better results. I could see a genuine change in my lip color from dark to medium after 2 months of usage (however I didn’t apply it continuously, hence I guess it took pretty long time). I am sure in few months from now, it is going to help me lighten a bit more and hoping to achieve pretty pink lips soon 🙂

Firstly, ‘Vellvette’ is now ‘FAB BAG’, so the URL from now on is http://www.fabbag.com/. However I am still used to addressing it as ‘Vellvette’ and that sounds unique too. Hopefully I am soon used to this change to ‘FAB BAG’ :P.

MAC VIVA GLAM VI lipstick

Ever since my affinity towards MAC products grew, I somehow wanted to spot my first/best MAC lipstick in town. I had been hunting for a while (actually a year: P) for picking up the right shade that suited my lip color. And then ‘MAC Viva Glam VI’ landed like a Goddess which was the ‘one’ that I had been looking for; Never did I realize I would land up in a lipstick that possesses the same shade of my lip color and what it does extra, is the perfect Matte Finish which completes my everyday look.

For certain lip tones’ falling in the darker pigmentation, no matter which lipstick is being used, the lip color still dominates the lipstick. My lips fall in one such category and no matter what color I use, in a couple of minutes my lip color just dominates the lipstick. My hunt didn’t stop since 2 years and finally I had to settle only with lip balms as I didn’t find any lipstick which is capable of stamping its existence. But then, MAC did it! It just tricked my lip tone portraying the same shade with a vibrancy of Matte Finish.

A little bit of happiness prevails here for a small contribution from my end towards a social cause J MAC Viva Glam VI is a lustre finish lipstick that is extremely moisturizing. This sheer coverage by VIVA Glam VI is very easy to wear/light/so comfortable that you don’t feel like there is something sitting on your lips and this is one of the best aspects the VIVA Glam VI possesses.

The color is neutral and is not so pigmented. However you can build up the terracotta-plum shade with a couple of swipes. The chocolaty finish it produces on your lips is just striking. I wear it every day and I found it very pleasing unlike other jarring shades confined only to party wears.

The VIVA Glam packaging is very classy and is different from other MAC lipsticks. The outer tube is metallic red in color which sports the MAC logo and the lipstick is vanilla scented. This lipstick is specifically the best when you tend to sport your eyes with a notable eye make-up. This neutral-soft shade is capable of complementing your eye make-up in a very efficient manner.

About the staying power, for me it lasts about 3 hours and you can make it last long with the help of a lip-liner.

• Glides on your lips easily, comfortable and extremely moisturizing

• It isn’t long lasting and needs frequent application once in 3-4 hours
• You need a lip-liner for best results pertaining to staying power

November Vellvette Bag 2013

Before I begin with my post, what kept me so busy since a month?

1)      Adapting to new workplace

2)      Forcing myself to catch the company shuttle at sharp 10

3)      Missing shuttle everyday and promising myself to keep up the word the next day

4)      Attempting cooking since a while

5)      Forcing myself to be regular at gym

6)      Enrolling myself in a new Yoga programme

7)      Finding my wardrobe empty although I could see a couple of dresses (actually more than that :P)

8)      Shopping frequently thereby cribbing that I am not shopping at all

9)      Surrendering credit cards to my mom and convincing myself to take it only in case of emergency (the next emergency occurrence, shopping :P)

10)   Reminding myself to post everyday and convincing myself that I will do it in a while.

Ok so the list goes on and on…..Finally glad that I found some time to pen down the next post. I am too late to write this review of November Vellvette Bag Contents, however I guess this time it is quite important for me to pen down a couple of new experiences.

Last month had been quite hectic that I was very much pressed for time. However my friends gave me this privilege to continue writing about Vellvette bag as they had already placed orders for the next few months.

November Vellvette Theme – ‘Band Baja Beauty’

I was really excited about this theme when clues came popping up on Facebook and Twitter and I felt really bad for not ordering one for myself. I was too anxious to see what my friends had received.

This time I have a couple of points/feedback to Vellvette regarding this month experience. Due to the shift in my workplace, my friends/colleagues had to update the shipping address to the new office location which they had updated a month back. But unfortunately we were upset on day 1 when we were informed from the courier guy that our bags have been shipped to the old location 😦

Courier Guy – Ma’m I am in reception, could you please come and collect your packages?

Us – Sure, we are on the way

Courier Guy – Have you people reached?

Us – Yes, we are standing in reception too.

Courier Guy – I am in Tower A reception, where are you?

Us – We are also in Tower A reception?, Where are you?

(This goes for a while about half an hour)

Us – You are in Bellandur office right?

Courier Guy – Sorry Ma’m, I am in whitefield office as the shipping address is in whitefield only.

This made us really upset and we had to travel to our new office to collect the bags. Vellvette! , You got to keep in mind about the ‘Updates of Shipping Address’ as it is a very crucial entity in shipping.

So finally my friends received the November Vellvette bags!

First I must say that the bags look totally stunning. Pink is so adorable and the black Polka dots is such a perfect add-on. Such quality bags every month is definitely a big plus for Vellvette 😀

I am sure Vellvette must be overloaded with orders this time, however perfection for each of its package is ultimately the most important aspect for a customer to continue her orders. Vellvette! , Please note these points too 🙂

Lipstick and Glitter eye-liner were my favorite ones this time and I wish Vellvette showers more products like these.

However, thanks to Vellvette for once again showering quality products in November, last but not the least, the final bag orders for this year is already out and I am sure Vellvette will keep up to the expectations by showering exciting products this time too. I have never heard about this brand before, so I did seek Google for a little help and finally landed here http://www.florelle-cosmetics.com/blush_wet.html.

Company Claims “A very new formula which multiply the colour and the lightness. An ultra-pearly soft powder, which ensures a perfect adherence and comfort. The colour can be blended as desired. For a soft natural make-up, use the brush dry. For a more dramatic look use the wet brush to give more coverage and long lasting wear. Available in 7 shades.”

Prior to these, the only blushes that I have experienced is from the brands – Faces and Maybelline. As far as this new entry from Florelle is concerned, I must say that it has definitely lived up to my expectations.

This blush comes in a transparent casing and is very comfortable to handle. It possesses stylish looks and is very compact to be carried on the go. Now what I had been wondering since a while is about the blue shimmer particles included in the blush. However it doesn’t disturb the pinkish shade that is expected out of it.

One differentiating aspect from other blushes is that, Florelle – blush can be used in dry and wet forms. Dry form can be used for daily wear and the wet form is for specifically creating a very dramatic look confined to occasions/parties.

Usage

It would be great if you could purchase a dedicated brush for using blush and then all you got to do is – Smile! Let the apple of your cheeks be visible; gently swipe your brush on the blush and highlight the apple of your cheeks extending it a little upwards.

To use it in a wet form, you got to swipe the brush gently on the water drops, damp a little and then swipe it on the product and proceed it for further application. I have tried the product in a dry form which lasted for almost 5-6 hours in a day.

Price

I had been very lucky to experience this International brand through Vellvette at a very affordable cost, it was one among the products I received in my Vellvette bag for 300+ bucks, so I definitely didn’t pay the actual amount for this blush. On an average I would have spent 100+ for this blush.

The actual price of this blush is around Rs 750 and it is quite a turn-off for people who are looking for products at affordable costs. However if you wish to try the same, just log-on to http://www.vellvette.com/florelle-wet-dry-blush-marmorized.html and purchase them separately.

Next time, if you wish to experience these kind of products I advice you to order a Vellvette bag and experience International brands at the lowest price possible.

With so much of excitement rushing through my veins ( I know that’s too much :P, however) , I met the guy from Blue-Dart requesting for the courier, he handed over me an ‘Ebay’ parcel. I was disheartened, at that moment I wasn’t eager to even give a thought about what could be inside the ‘Ebay’ parcel rather I was disappointed that it was not from Vellvette. While he asked me to sign I noticed that it was somebody else’s and not mine. Finally he took out another parcel from his bag and I quickly sneaked at the label , not at my name but at the ‘from’ column and Voila ! it was from Vellvette. It gave me a huge sense of contentment at that moment and nothing was that important to me at that point of time.
